Festival-goers from Woman Within, The ManKind Project, abandofbrothers, Women in Power, Shadow Work, Celebration of Being, Rites for Girls, Menshare and other brother/sister organisations will connect in celebratory space. If you're not in these communities, you are very welcome too!
We kick-off at 6pm Friday--festival-goers are welcome to arrive from 2pm--and we finish at 4pm Sunday.
Musicians, poets and artists join together to share their talent with festival-goers throughout the weekend, whilst healers, practitioners and people passionate about their interests deliver workshops free to all.
You can sign up for any workshop you want to attend when you arrive to the festival. Sign-up sheets will be available from Friday afternoon.
If you want to join the creative line-up or offer a workshop, contact silverskyfestival@gmail.com.
What makes a man, and what might we be doing wrong?
A study of wounded leaders, boarding school survival and the journey of child to 'adult’.
With an exquisite physical performance, an occasional table and chair, a subtle soundscape and only the protagonist’s side of the dialogue, we are given an intimate portrait of how one boy becomes a man. The question then is what do we make of the result? Who carries the scars?
Winner of The Fringe Review’s Outstanding Theatre Award [Brighton 2018], this remarkable performance by Duncan Henderson [MKP/ABOB] brings his "The Polished Scar" to Silver Sky.
This is a life seen through snapshots of what might be, character defining moments, where personal traits are smothered or defined.
‘One of the most remarkable theatrical productions I’ve seen in years’ – Fringe Review
‘A brilliant performance that is nuanced and easily commands our attention’ – Broadway Baby
‘This is a one-man display of acting virtuosity’ – Fringe Guru
The Stretch Tent stage will be abuzz with music and performers over the weekend from the MKP and WW communities.
